This contemporary coastal home, located in Muriwai Beach, Auckland, has just had the first stages of the landscape design implemented, with the second stage due to be completed in 2018.  The landscape design takes strong cues from the architecture, utilising strong linear lines and forms.  The planting palette has been designed to provide lots of textural interest and consists of solely New Zealand native species, capable of withstanding the harsh West Coast environment.  Pohutukawa's and Nikau's have been used throughout to provide bold, structural form to the garden.
